Greetail is a platform meant for common people. It is committed to support our society so that people can sustain and grow together. In its endeavor to do so it supports products which are from the locals, to the locals and by the locals. Our ecosystem has the following 3 components.
We at Greetail emphasize on good quality products that are locally produced without harming the environment. Greetail lists three types of merchants: Kirana stores, local entrepreneurs and exclusive partners.
Greetail works with Kirana stores that sell loose groceries to local customers. Kirana stores have a smaller pool of customers than multinational chains, but they have quality products on their aisles that serve as cheaper alternatives for locals. These products are put in the limelight by getting listed on Greetail. Greetail supports Kirana stores in the process of packaging and transportation. Moreover, products are always packed using eco-friendly materials, avoiding plastic as much as possible.
Greetail lists individual merchants and self-help groups who produce groceries and handmade products. This category includes entrepreneurs who don’t yet have a label and a brand. We enable small start-ups and local entrepreneurs to create employment opportunities for themselves and others. Women, especially, benefit from much-needed encouragement and support to make money off their entrepreneurial skills.
Greetail collaborates with merchants who have innovative products. We look for products that are natural or organic, having fewer preservatives. We prefer merchants who already have a label and brand value and some experience in the market. We insist on switching from plastic packaging to eco-friendly materials. In case plastic is unavoidable, we focus on recollecting the plastics and disposing of them.

Anyone buying products on our platform is Greetail’s customer. Our goal at Greetail is to empower our end-customers with quality and healthy products. When it comes from their local regions it is also more value for their money. They are provided with miscellaneous options and recommendations for each product they are willing to buy (or they are looking for).

As we are aiming to replace plastic packaging everywhere possible in the products packaging; by buying products from our platform you are also participating in the battle against climate change. We understand that plastic packaging is also required for certain products to maintain its intended quality standards. Hence we are rewarding our customers to return any plastic packages bought on Greetail’s platform back to us and we ensure proper disposal of the same.
